The only time you get to ask questions is during the recruitment process and time is limited. In this article, I’ll outline what it’s like to work on the front-end team.

We’re often asked, why not do it yourself when it comes to exchange-traded funds (ETFs)? Why do you need a discretionary investment manager such as Nutmeg when you could build your own ETF portfolio, if you wanted to? Before we moved to remote working, we put three common customer questions to three groups of Nutmeggers and, over one ‘Ideation Day’, arrived at a solution. The winning idea, voted on by all of us at Nutmeg, was built the following week. Here’s how we did it. 

March was an exceptional month. The US stock market suffered its fastest bear market in history, while the stock market in the UK witnessed its biggest one-day fall since 1987.
