Terms and Conditions

1. The Promoter is: Nutmeg Saving and Investment Limited (company no. 0753666) whose registered office is at 5 New Street Square, London, EC4A 3TW (“Nutmeg”).

2. The giveaway/competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom, aged 18 and over.

3. Employees, officers or directors of Nutmeg or members of any such person’s immediate family will not be eligible to enter the prize draw.

4. Nutmeg’s decision as to those able to take part and selection of winners is final. No correspondence challenging the final decision of the giveaway/competition will be entered into.

5. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this giveaway/competition.

6. By entering this giveaway/competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

7. Prizes will be stated within each giveaway/competition.

8. The competition entry window will run from Tuesday 2nd March until 11:59pm on Sunday 21st March 2021. After this closing date no further entries to the giveaway/competition will be permitted.

9. You are permitted to enter once per social media platform on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn, during the window in which the competition is open. Subsequent entries above this amount will not be considered.

10. The Promoter shall not be held responsible for:

a. failures or delays caused by third-party providers; and

b. failed entries due to failures or circumstances outside of Nutmeg’s reasonable control.

11. There is no cash or other alternative for prizes.

12. In the event of unforeseen circumstances Nutmeg reserves the right to provide an alternative prize of equal or greater value to the offered giveaway/competition prize without giving notice.

13. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the giveaway/competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control. Any changes to the giveaway/competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter through social media and/or on our website (nutmeg.com).

14. Nutmeg shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.

15. Prizes are non-transferable.

16. The Promoter shall not be held responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this giveaway/competition.

17. The winner's name and/or relevant social media handle may be published on our news and social media pages and they will be asked to contact Nutmeg to claim their prize.

a. Should you wish to object to these details being shared, please contact us at competitions@nutmeg.com. For the avoidance of doubt, regardless of your objection and in the event we are asked for it, we will still be required to share the winner’s surname and county with the Advertising Standards Authority.

18. The winner(s)will be notified by social media within 10 working days of the closing date.  If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

19. The winner(s)is required to provide their full name, full contact telephone number (including area code if providing a landline number) or other method of contact (if applicable), email address and an address to which their prize will be sent to by the Promoter. This is required for the purposes of organising the shipping of the prize.

20. The Promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected / is delivered within 30 days of the winner(s) providing the information specified at Clause 19.

21. Nutmeg accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the giveaway/competition or accepting the prize.

22. The giveaway/competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

23. This giveaway/competition/promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with ,LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other Social Network. 

24. Any information provided by you is being provided to Nutmeg and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy found at https://www.nutmeg.com/legal/privacy-policy

Prizes and Judging

1. There will be a maximum of 10 winners of this competition each receiving ‘Nutmeg swag’ (‘Nutmeg Swag’ is defined as a selection of Nutmeg merchandise, which includes, but is not limited to, Nutmeg hoodie, a Nutmeg travel mug and a Nutmeg T-shirt). 

2. In addition to receiving the ‘Nutmeg Swag’, the top 3 most creative entries will also win six (6) months of no Nutmeg account management fees on their account. These 3 winners will be chosen by a panel of judges comprising 3 internal Nutmeg employees and one external independent judge (details of the independent judge are available upon request).  

3. The remaining 7 winners will each receive ‘Nutmeg swag’ and will be chosen at random by a random number generator, which is governed by the laws of chance. 

6 Months No Nutmeg Management Fees 

1. Existing Customers: 

a. Existing customers will need to contract Nutmeg’s Customer and support and will be asked to provide relevant account details in order for the six (6) months 0% per annum Nutmeg account management fees(“Promotional Rate”). Please note Nutmeg’s Standard Terms and Conditions still apply to your account, this offer is not intended to have the effect of invalidating their enforceability or effect. 

b. Nutmeg reserves the right to contact the customer via social media to inform the customer that they must contact Nutmeg’s Client Services Team in order to confirm their identity for the Promotional Rate to be applied to their account.  

c. The Nutmeg account management fee will be reduced to 0% per annum for six (6) months within one (1) month of the date in which your funds are next traded.  

d. After a period of six (6) months the standard Nutmeg fees will be applied. Details available here.  

e. This offer cannot be used: 

i. in conjunction with any other Nutmeg offer or promotion; or  

ii. for fees associated with a 100%-cash pot.  

2. New Customers:

a. New customers are individuals who: 

i. have not invested with, or used the services of, Nutmeg Saving and Investment Limited (“Nutmeg”) before; and 

ii. in Nutmeg’s reasonable opinion, are capable of being accepted as a customer of Nutmeg, in accordance with the requirements of Nutmeg’s Standard Terms and Conditions, and all applicable law. 

b. If you are a new customer (not an existing customer), in order to take advantage of the Promotional Rate you must do each of the following: 

i. Sign-up via Nutmeg’s main sign-up page; and  

ii. Fund your new Nutmeg product:  

iii. In the case of Nutmeg ISA, General Investment Account, or Pension by making a minimum initial investment of £500;  

iv. in the case of a Nutmeg Lifetime ISA or Junior ISA by making a minimum investment of £100. 

c. Once the account has been created and funded, the new customer will need to contact Nutmeg’s Client Services Team in order to confirm their identity and have the Promotional Rate applied to the account.  

d. The Promotional Fee Rate will be applied within one (1) month of the funds in the new Nutmeg customer’s account first being traded (“First Traded Date”).   

e. If the Promotional Rate has not been applied within 30 days of the First Traded Date, please contact Nutmeg’s Client Services team within 3 months of the First Traded Date to ensure it is applied. 

f. After a period of six (6) months the standard Nutmeg fees will be applied. Details available here

3. General terms applying to New and Existing Customers in conjunction with this offer: 

a. Nutmeg reserves the right to withdraw the offer at any time without prior notice in cases of suspected abuse, fraud or violation of its rules.   

b. This offer, the ISA, GIA, LISA and Nutmeg Pension, and transfers and withdrawals, are subject to, and governed by, Nutmeg’s Standard Terms and Conditions and the general law. If there is a conflict between (a) the terms of this offer; and (b) Nutmeg’s Standard Terms and Conditions the latter will prevail.

d. Nutmeg reserves the right to change, terminate or withdraw this offer without prior notice due to unexpected operational constraints. 

e. This offer cannot be used: 

i. in conjunction with any other Nutmeg offer or promotion; or
