Today marks an important next step in the evolution of our story as we announce that, from November this year, we will offer our products and services under the new J.P. Morgan Personal Investing brand. 

We are taking everything that is already great about Nutmeg and expanding it with products and services that you may expect from J.P. Morgan to help even more people achieve their financial goals. Under this new brand, investors will further benefit from over 150 years of knowledge and expertise from one of the world's largest investment firms, J.P. Morgan, alongside an enhanced digital-first product offering. 

Nutmeg was founded in 2012 with the ambitious aim of opening up the exclusive world of investing and putting the customer first. Over the last decade, our products, services and business have evolved, but our core purpose has remained the same: to offer a straightforward, high-quality wealth management experience through intuitive and innovative technology, supported by human expertise. 

In 2021, Nutmeg was acquired by JPMorganChase, and we didn’t stand still after acquisition. We have been enhancing what we offer investors: launching our Thematic Investing style focused on the trends shaping the world ahead; expanding financial advice and guidance services and growing the team to over 30 wealth advisers, paraplanners and financial advisers; and most recently entering into a second partnership with J.P. Morgan Asset Management with the launch of Income Investing.

J.P. Morgan Personal Investing will continue to provide all the existing Nutmeg products and services, and we will add some new benefits too, including:  

  • Wealth planner: In the coming weeks, all J.P. Morgan Personal Investing clients will have access to a new wealth planner feature, which gives them a view of their current total wealth, alongside tailored suggestions for how they could move closer to their goals. Clients will be able to use the digital guidance tool to explore the potential impact on their goals and finances before taking action, so they can customise their strategy to suit them and make decisions with greater confidence. 
  • Relationship managers: Available from November 2025, clients with over £250k invested with J.P. Morgan Personal Investing will have access to a dedicated relationship manager to provide a personalised one-to-one experience and professional expertise. The introduction of relationship managers will complement the existing free financial guidance and the paid-for restricted advice service currently available to all clients. 
  • A full DIY investment platform: J.P. Morgan Personal Investing will launch a full DIY investment platform in 2026, offering investors the ability to buy and sell their own shares, bonds, funds and other asset classes.   

If you're an existing Nutmeg client, there is nothing for you to do. During October we will be providing additional updates on what you can expect to see. From Monday 3 November, you will see that your app and online dashboard have been updated. Our client services team is available Monday to Friday to answer any questions you may have in the meantime.
